History

Welcome to Lazy Oaks RV Park, a hidden gem with a rich history dating back to the early 1900s! Originally known as "Camp Tropical," this charming spot began as rustic fish camp for commercial fishermen before transforming into a beloved recreational destination to Florida visitors. Today, you can still experience the allure of the past with the many, mighty Live Oak trees and one of the original cabins remaining, built circa 1927, currently serving as the home-office for our dedicated owners, Michael and Celeste.
